Likewise, in Budanilkantha you get to see an incredible huge statue of Lord Vishnu where he lies down on snakes making it as a bed, the goddess name Dakchin Kali, who is famous for “tantricbidha” and the last but not least Chovar gorge is very attention-grabbing place for sight-seeing in the region of Kathmandu Valley. DAY 01:Arrival in Kathmandu: (1300m/4264ft)

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, e-Trip Nepal Representative will pick you up from the airport. You will then be transferred to Hotel nearby Thamel as per your request or similar category hotel. The tour leader attends a formal briefing about your package. We can either visit Great Nepal’s office in Thamel or take rest at our hotel room. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02:Pashupatinath – Guheshwori – Bouddhanath – Budhanilkantha

Today day begins with the breakfast in the hotel, you will be explored to the fascinating city of Kathmandu. We firstly go for one of the biggest in the world of its kind and the popular Hindu pilgrimage site, Pashupatinath Temple, it lies 6 Km from central Kathmandu, One of the holiest Hindu temples for Hindu dedicated to Lord Shiva. Pashupatinath is Situated on the bank of the sacred Bagmati river, the temple, it is built in pagoda style, has a gilded roof and beautifully carved silver doors as well as will visit Guheshwori situated near Pashupatinath. Then you will visit famous Stupa, Boudhnath. This stupa,is approximately 11 Km from the central Kathmandu. Then we move towards Budhanilkantha. The Budhanilkantha statue of the Hindu god Vishnu, located approximately 10 kilometers from the center of Kathmandu at the base of the Shivapuri Hill, is the largest and most beautiful stone carving in all of Nepal. It is also the most enigmatic.Carved from a single block of black basalt stone of unknown origin, the Budhanilkantha statue is 5m 7ft in length and it lies in a reclining position inside a recessed tank of water (representing the cosmic sea) that is 13m 43 ft in length, Called the Sleeping Vishnu, or Jalakshayan Narayan. We get back to hotel and overnight there.

DAY 03:Dakshinkali – patan – Swyombhunath

Early morning you begin your tour after the breakfast for Dakshinkali. Dakshinkali is approximately 19 km away from Kathmandu. This temple is dedicated to the Goddess Kali. We visit there, the way to the temple lies countryside and and greenery from there we straight drive around 45 minutes to Patan. Patan is Located 5 Km. away from Kathmandu city. Patan is also known as known as Lalitpur, is a city of fine arts, enclosed within 4 stupas, which are said to have been built in the 3rd century A.D. by Emperor Ashoka.You will see Durbar square, the Patan durbar (palace), which houses a bronze collection, the Krishna temple built by King Siddi Narsinh Malla, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, and Mahaboudha Temple. After we finish visiting important places in patan we get back to Kathmandu, there we visit Swyombhunath also known as monkey temple, located approximately 3km from the center of Kathmandu and at the height of1450m above sea level. Since it is 150m above from Kathmandu it is said as “Kathmandu view tower”. This Buddist stupa is said to be 2000 years old. The stupa which forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth which supports a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of gilt copper painted on the four sided base below the spire are the all seeing eyes of lord Buddha. The whole area around the stupa contains an array of small stupas and temples. This is one of the best places from which to view the Kathmandu valley, as it is situated an a small hillock. We get back to Kathmandu, rest and overnight in hotel.

Day 04:Bhaktapur – Sanga – Nagarkot back to Kathmandu

Early morning after breakfast we start heading toward BhaktapurBhaktapur city is also known as Bhadgaon, meaning the city of devotes, this place is very rich in art and architecture. Lying 14 Km east of central Kathmandu. You can observed closely “Newari” cultural tradition and their living style. The city is at the height of 4600 ft. above sea level. In Bhaktapur you have many places to visit like Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the palace of 55 Windows, the Nytapola Temple from there we straight away head toward Sanga. Sanga a culturally diverged place spreading the area of about 9.18 sq. km. lies at the height of 1480m to1850m from sea level. Sanga is further divided into 9 wards. Among four saddle of Nepal, Sanga is the eastern saddle to Kathmandu valley, which is only 21km. east from capital city Kathmandu and 9 km west from Dhulikhel world’s tallest statue of “Shiva” is also located there and from there we take back ride and ahead to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is located at the height, at the altitude of 2229 Mt above from sea level and is situated about 35 Km. east of Kathmandu city and from here one can see Mt. Everet and other peaks of the Himalayas. Nagarkot is located between Kathmandu valley in the west and Indravati in the east. It is very popular for the sunrise view and sunset view. The climate there is very pleasant. The top of Nagarkot commands accelerating views in all direction. We reach there for stunning view of sunset and get back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 05:Kathmandu Narayanhiti museum visit

The palace compound is located in the north-central part of Kathmandu, at the head of Durbar marg. It is designed to be a contemporary pagoda with sprawling, park-like grounds covering an area of (30 hectares (74 acres)) all fully enclosed with walls and guarded gates. The current Narayanhiti Palace was built in 1970, replacing the original 1915 building, which had been destroyed in an earthquake. The royal palace was turned into a public museum immediately after the country was declared a republic. The crown jewels are considered to be among the most valuable objects in Nepal. Then we get to enjoy a day leisurely at Kathmandu. we catch up on some last minute shopping or explore any landmarks we missed during our first day in Kathmandu. we can also tour Kathmandu Durbar Square (Basantapur). Late evening, a welcome dinner will be served in a traditional Nepali Restaurant where we will be able to enjoy authentic cuisine with a brief cultural program as a celebration dinner together. Overnight in Kathmandu.

DAY 06:Final Departure

Our journey in Nepal comes to an end today! The e-Trip Nepal  representative will escort you to the airport approximately 3 hours before our scheduled flight. On our way to home, we have plenty of time to plan our next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
